St. Thomas' SPG church was established by Rev. Paran Jyothi in the year 1852 solely as a service to humanity for imparting education and building character.
St. Thomas (SPG) schools at Ammuguda, Bolarum, Secunderabad & Trimulgiri were established to educate the children of the society. All the schools are recognised by the Govt of Telangana and today they all are full-fledged English medium schools managed by the St. Thomas' Tamil Church Society, Secunderabad.
